Material
This NBR foam has high a expansion ratio and extremely fine closed-cell structure, provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation in both construction and automotive industries. As this foam is manufactured through independent mold pressing, it is much more durable than other extrusion foam products because of stronger bonding between polymer molecules. Highest rating in UL94, burning stops immediately with samples thickness of 2.5mm.
Applications
In automotive, it can be supplied with a self-adhesive backing for quick and easy installation, laminated with EPDM layers that can further increase the sound deadening capacity, as well as layers of film, fabric, and aluminum foil. Inside the studio, egg crate, and deep wave pattern increase the efficiency of soundproofing. In thermal construction, it is extremely soft to wrap the foam sheet on pipings and easily adheres for complete coverage.
